I usually work outside the office, but in the past two weeks I have been sitting at a computer in the office, and my neck and shoulder start bothering me... I have tried adjusting the height of the screen and using different chairs, to no avail.... anyone had the same experience?Shoulder/neck problem when working on computer... any advice?
i would recommend upper body stretches --it can releive upper body tension and keep your muscles from tightning upShoulder/neck problem when working on computer... any advice?
I work some long hours as a computer programmer and trust me, I feel your pain! Some of my co-workers have similar ailments too. It's just unnatural to spend so much time in front of a screen. My neck and shoulders hurt all the time. I see a massage therapist about once every month or so, it relieves a lot of tension in my tight muscles.
I have this problem too. I have to move from one computer station to another depending on where in the office I need to be. With all the chairs and monitors at different heights, I have to be careful not to slump and loose my posture. needless to say, I often end up hurting.
your probably on the computer to long typing and sitting in the same position so get up during the period and move around stretch the parts that are hurting cause your joints are probably just locked up
