EX BF problem...PLEASE HELP need advice.. grrr hes a jertk?

ok so we broke up because this is the second tmie he cheated on me and he didnt tell me i had to find out from someone else. and he promised me he wouldnt do it again..so we broke up but he asked that girl he cheated on me to prom bcuz he thought i wouldnt go with him now and i said if u go with her im never tlaking to you again and he took me instead because he said hes still is in love with me... and we ended up being more thn friends that night..but after that he still wants to be ';friends'; but he gets jealous when he sees me talkng to other boys and other boys like me and he calls me and when i dont answer he gets mad and is always checking up on me and he says ';i still love you';.. and im like okay.. we plan to see ea other but then he always cancels.hes not making it happen.. even though he doesnt deserve another chance. but its h and he still talks to the girl he has cheated on me with..and claims they are friends but im sure tahts BS to.what is he trying to do..what should i do?EX BF problem...PLEASE HELP need advice.. grrr hes a jertk?
What he is trying to do is to have his cake and be able to eat it too. You are allowing him to use you, manipulate you, lie to you, cheat on you and it is no wonder he treats you with total lack of respect. Just know, people treat you the way you allow them to do so.
