Is my brother a jerk, crybaby, or both? Am I the jerk?
I have a really sensitive and insensitive brother. Sensitive because if my parents say eating fish makes you smarter, or something like
that, and I notice he never eats it and I say( as a joke ),';Maybe that's why he's so dumb.'; Just a joke, and my brother knows.
My brother says';oh yeah, would a dumb person do this!'; He picks up a fork and throws it at me. I was so angry that I said';yeah, a dumb person would!'; He picks up 2 forks and almost stabs me in the eye, crying and sobbing.
My dad stops him just in time. I say ';I was just joking. Under my
breath, I say ';crybaby'; and he threatens to stab me in the eye again, face red and filled with tears. He was screaming on top of his lungs!
My dad was screaming too and now, after dinner, still wide awake, locking myself in this room so no one will even bother me, still typing, gonna sleep here until next morning, am asking, who's the jerk, my little brother, or me.
I didn't even threaten him! Still, is he a crybaby? Am I a jerk, or my brother is? He's 9 years old.
I also need advice for clearing this problem. Is my brother a jerk, crybaby, or both? Am I the jerk? Can I please get advice to clear this problem?
I agree with jon, but I also think it would be best for you 2 to stay away from each other until this problem clears. Is my brother a jerk, crybaby, or both? Am I the jerk? Can I please get advice to clear this problem?
In my own opinion, and don't take this personally, I think he is a crybaby, and you are a jerk. Both of you are kind of mean.
First off, why would you make fun of him knowing he is really sensitive?
And second, he needs to grow up and stop threatening people with violence for making fun of him.
You're a jerk because you say things to him because you know he's going to react like that.
He's inmature and needs to learn to handle teasing but that usually comes as he grows up.
Apologize and stop instigating.
Unfortunately you are older so you should know better by now. He knows how to get you in trouble and you make it easy for him. Try being nice and maybe he will stop his tantrums too.
i think i would call dr phil
