I have a problem benching Podsednick. Take a look. Any advice?

I want to get L. Castillo in at DH but am having a hard time deciding to bench Pods. I can hardly take Mora off of 2nd base for Castillo.I have a problem benching Podsednick. Take a look. Any advice?
Tough choice, Rick. I actually think out of all that, I would bench Granderson. It seems kind of strange to have two SB threats like Roberts and Pods, but you have to go with the hot players. You do lose a bit in the power department, but you'll gain in runs scored, BA, and obviously SBs.

Podsednick is only useful for his SB. But since July of last year his base stealing percentage has been only slightly above average. He seems to be slowing down.

As others have said, Podsednick's steal percentage has dropped. He does have 6 steals last four games, but given the performance of last 10 months, you have to be careful. Plus, with Thome and Konerko hit behind, it doesn't make sense for him to steal.





But he is pretty hot lately, you should stick with him. Bench Granderson for now would be a better idea.
