if the speakers are in the monitor then it sounds like it's the monitor that is going wrong and won't last much longer.
if the speaker are separatly connected to the computer then I don't know what it is?
Try plugging in another screen, that is the first thing I would do.

what other electronical devices are near it. The magnetic field from a transformer could cause this typr of problem.
try turning off any thing else that is near it.
I had 2 screens that made each other shake when they were put too close to each other. I turned off one to return it to the shop and saw the other one had stopped shaking.Any advice for my friend's computer problem?
hmmm seems like the monitor is done for... maybe its time to change it.
to check if its the monitor, have your friend's PC connect to a different monitor and see if its ok... if its the same, then its the PC. but im going with my first guess.. its the monitor.
I knew a German girl who was did that.
In my experience the best thing is to give it it is a double vodka and, very carefully, insert your finger inside the little access port in the back
The shaking and buzzing stops almost immidiately
If you and your friend are not electrically or mechanically minded then take it to a good repair shop for a free assessment of the problem.
Make sure you find out its a free assessment first,,,lol.
That sounds like when you have a cellphone near or around the computer thats what happens even if it doesnt ring happens to me all the time ...
