Huge boy problem.. need all the advice i can get?

i'll try to keep it short and simple:


i just graduated HS a few weeks ago and am getting ready to go off to college in a couple months (in state)


i liked this guy sophmore year and i'm pretty sure he liked me but we were just friends and laughed, flirted, joked, etc.





jr year- no classes with him. basically all contact stopped. it killed me b/c i still really liked him but never saw/talked to him.


sr year- no classes with him. i was pretty much over him by this point... still when i saw him i would think ';what if he just comes up and says hi to me';





and now that we graduated, after TWO years of basically NOTHING... what does he go and do??????


he posts something on my facebook! along the lines of ';hey, how's summer going, we should hang out';


WTF!! here i am, finally over this guy (or so i thought) and then he just comes back and screws everything up!


i do have feelings for him, but i know i deserve better and should just ignore him... but idk!


should i give him a chance?


also, we've never really hung out, so idk where he lives, he doesn't know where i live, it'd be super awkward... should i just cut it off from the start and not encourage the hanging out?


but idk... part of me wants to try to become friends w/ him... especially b/c our colleges are within 20 minutes of each other





just please give me advice... i know ya'll have gone through similar situations w/ ex friends, ex bfs, whatever, please help me, i don't want to screw this upHuge boy problem.. need all the advice i can get?
you never gave him a chance. and you never told him you liked him.. was he supposed to read your mind or something? how do u know he's not good for you? do you even know him? get to know him first and then decide if you wanna be with him.. besides he only said he wants to hang out... that doesn't mean ';HEY I WANNA GET IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU!'; it means hey i wanna get to know you..


and in the rules of dating, this happens too much. you like someone but they don't seem interested. then when you're over them they become interested! good luck :)
