UPS Problem, Can you give advice on legal issue ?

I went to work for UPS as a seasonal helper in 2008. UPS called me back in Oct of 2009. The supervisor yelled at me 7 different times one morning, ( I still can't figure out why ) and after work, she told me that she was going to do an evaluation and probably find me physically unfit to do the job. The next morning, they tried to call me into work. I never went in...I figured, if I wasn't physically fit to do the job, then why are they calling me to work ( Right ? ) Now, I was supposedly hired in as seasonal again. I haven't been contacted by them again and that was the end of OCT 2009. I just received a paper from the union wanting me to join the union. It says I have enough days to qualify, BUT I DON'T. I called the Union and they said they didn't know and they would get back to me...They haven't. On the paper, they want me to send 100 dollars for initiation fees plus 21.00 dues for October and 21.00 for November. The company already hired someone to do my job because I never went into work the day after the supervisor rode my butt and told me I wasn't physically fit. Legally, where do I stand on the issue ? I don't even think I work for UPS anymore but the union wants me to fill out their paperwork.UPS Problem, Can you give advice on legal issue ?
Just give milton back the damn stapler geez.

But no just call the labour board and you tell them.UPS Problem, Can you give advice on legal issue ?
You have not stated any legal issue. You are listed as a voluntary quit with UPS, the union just wants $$$.
Since you are not employed by them, you are not a member of the union - simple as that
You mean, you worked for them during the holidays??? A Temp! Why would you want to join a Union? And IF the Union contacted you, why didn't they step in and find out what this woman's problem was!???? Don't pay the Union a penny!! Go look for another job and forget about UPS, If it had been a permanent position, that would have been a different story! There plenty of seaonal jobs awailable right now with no strings attached!!! Don't waste your money or time on UPS or the Union.
